Sadie Amara Calvano hails from America and is best known for playing Violet Plunkett, in CBS"sitting show Mom. Calvano was born in California She was at first interested in competitive gymnastics. She later made the decision to go after a job as an actress. Her debut on screen was an episode from 2010 on the CBS show 'NCIS. One year later, her first big-screen appearance made it into the biographical thriller film J Edgar. Over the next few years, she established herself among the top young actors working today. In 2011, she was awarded an award for a Young Artist Award nomination for Best Actress in a Television Series as in the role of Guest Actress 11-15. In 2013 she was also nominated for an additional Young Artist Award for her performance as a guest in the Disney XD comedy series 'Kickin' It'. Calvano appeared in a number in the episodes "Mom" in its 4th season. She was the primary role in the initial three seasons of the show. The role she played in "Mom" garnered her an award called the Gracie Allen Award for Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star in 2015.
